Get your eyes glued on the streets of Cebu on January 21, 2018, at 8 a.m. as Pioneer Adhesives Inc. participates in the annual Sinulog Festival’s grand float parade. Featured in the float will be top Pioneer products, such as Mighty Bond, Pearl Glaze, and Painter’s Buddy Skim Coat.

Drawing over three million festivalgoers, Sinulog’s line up of activities gets bigger and bigger every year with a host of extravagant activities such as grand float parades, lively street parades, big parties and concerts.
 
This participation in the Sinulog Festival’s float parade is one of many activities lined up for the celebration of the company’s 60th anniversary this February.

AXA-NBA partnership yields financial assistance to Tahanang Walang Hagdanan

AXA, the official insurance partner of the NBA in the Philippines, recently celebrated the strategic partnership with an event that highlighted their shared principles of teamwork, integrity, courage, and innovation. During the festivities, a check donation amounting to P70,000 was presented to Tahanang Walang Hagdanan, a non-profit center for the orthopedically impaired. Last July, NBA 3X Philippines 2017 presented by AXA staged a free throw challenge featuring local celebrities including TV personality Bobby Yan, former PBA player Paul Artadi, and former UP Lady Maroons team captain Karen Salapong that generated a financial donation for every free throw made, which will be used to purchase wheelchairs for the community. AXA Philippines believes in empowering its customers to create a solid financial game plan to be able to live the life they choose.

Jollibee celebrates milestone 40th year with anniversary anthem


Jollibee marks 40 years of spreading joy with a new anniversary jingle, performed by two of the country’s biggest stars, Gary Valenciano and Sarah Geronimo. 
 
Mr. Pure Energy Gary Valenciano and Popstar Royalty Sarah Geronimo join forces for a one-of-a-kind collaboration that capture the joy-filled stories of Filipinos to mark the 40th anniversary of the country’s number one fast food chain.
 
Entitled ‘Apat na Dekada’, the upbeat and heart-warming song encapsulates four decades of joyful moments shared with generations of Filipinos who have made Jollibee a part of their lives. The song was composed by Thyro Alfaro in collaboration with Jollibee’s creative agency, McCann World Group Philippines.
 
For the past 40 years, Jollibee has been a home to stars who have served as their brand ambassadors. The stellar list includes Sarah and Gary who headlined some of the most memorable Jollibee campaigns but none quite as special as the 40th anniversary anthem.
 
One of the brand’s first endorsers, Gary shared how it feels to have reached full circle, “I was happy then, overjoyed now because it is 40 years later and I’m doing something with them again.”
 
For her part, Sarah has been a part of the Jollibee family since 2005 and has since become one of the country’s biggest superstars, growing a wider audience in the same way that Jollibee has continued to spread its reach in the country and across the globe.
 
While recording the song, the two artists felt waves of nostalgia as they looked back at their own Jollibee moments with their loved ones.
